Public Telephone 公用电话 Gongyòng Diànhuà


Public telephones are rapidly disappearing in China because of the advent of cell phones. To use a public telephone you must insert a phone card which can be purchased at tobacco shops, supermarkets or newspaper stands. They generally come in denominations ranging from 5 yuan up to 100 yuan.
